We are seeking a finance professional to join our team as a trusted partner to GSK production sites. In this role you will deliver timely, accurate month‑end reporting and support costing, control and audit activities (internal and external). You will play an active role in site and global initiatives to standardize processes, implement improvements and adopt new ways of working. The successful candidate will drive excellence in SMAS processes and help foster a high‑performance, control‑focused finance culture across GSC Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for delivery of assigned SMAS processes according to agreed SMAS operating model and/or Service Level Agreements whilst ensuring full compliance with GSK and external accounting policies.
- Operate according to governance frameworks, policies, and internal controls, prepare reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts in scope as well as other relevant accounting controls.
- Align and partner with Site Finance to review results, evaluate and assess financial performance, prepare Actuals Dashboard, and liaise with Site teams on Actuals and Standard Costing exercises.
- Build strong working relationships with customer groups and stakeholders, manage stakeholder expectations, and needs, communicate effectively and adequately in all interactions through various means.
- Ensure that process activities are carried out in a robust and efficient manner and delivered accurately to SMAS Customer groups according to agreed timelines, critically analyzing and assessing data and information to ensure SMAS processes support reliable, informed business decisions.
- Manage own time appropriately to ensure assigned processes are performed and delivered in line with agreed timelines, and according to standard work approach.
- Seek development and improvement, to deliver a level of expertise in assigned process to the benefit of SMAS group and site customers.
- Drive continuous process and service improvement, contribute to new ideas and opportunities to actively support SMAS Continuous Improvement culture within the cluster and across SMAS, driving standardization and improved performance to support delivery of wider organizational objectives.
- Support Management Accounting Team Lead in delivery of key priorities and initiatives as required. Support additional processes across SMAS scope as required and lead or support delivery of projects.
- Support training needs of wider team, share best practice and collaborate with others.
- Support Annual Standard Setting and Product Costing processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Costing and Manufacturing environment
- Responsible for supporting complex sites.
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of management accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Able to effectively manage time against agreed deadlines for activities.
- Expert level Excel skills, preferably with experience of SAP and other GSK financial systems such as ICT, Siera, BISON
- Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions (finance and non-finance) and customer groups.
- Flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude, drive to ensure that task is achieved.
- Team working skills are paramount in enabling the jobholder to function effectively, to provide and receive support within small team of colleagues.
- Data Analytics tools knowledge required:
- Power BI
- Ability to create solutions based on Digital Tools for SMAS reporting purpose

The annual base salary in Poland for new hires in this position ranges from PLN 118,500 to PLN 197,500 gross, taking into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. Depending on the role and internal policies, the position may also be eligible for a bonus (if applicable and based on defined, non-discretionary criteria) and/or awards for exceptional performance (granted at the employer’s discretion). All statutory benefits will be maintained in accordance with Polish law. Other benefits may also be offered, which may include private healthcare, additional paid days off, life insurance, private pension plan and fully paid parental leave & care of family member leave.
