Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team, responsible for the coordination and management of various technology projects in support of regulatory initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with our Regulatory Operations team to ensure the successful execution of regulatory trade submissions and recons across all global reporting regimes. This role will involve full project ownership, including tasks such as planning and management as well as requirements documentation and testing.  It will also require acting as primary liaison across multiple development teams which will assist in providing solutions in the Regulatory Operations space.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the book of work management and prioritization for Regulatory Technology
  • Responsible for project planning including timelines, task ownership, and run books
  • Will organize and drive required discussions in support of the assigned projects
  • Understanding of business workflows and Technology tools
  • Assist in requirements gathering, documentation, and testing of key projects
  • Plan and oversee regulatory and technology governance requirements for PIMCO EMEA legal entities.
  • Create presentations used in execution communications and sometimes drive those communications
  • Communicate with vendors leveraged for the regulatory reporting workflows as well as analysis of any new vendors

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project management and business analysis experience working in asset management / hedge funds, investment banking or financial services institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent; a higher degree in a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in regulatory and technology governance, particularly within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of project planning methodologies and experience in documentation and training rationalization.
  • Experience in vendor management and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
