Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the application lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the project requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for application-related activities, driving progress and addressing challenges to deliver effective software solutions. Collaboration and proactive communication are key elements throughout the day to align efforts and achieve project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of application development tasks to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow App Engine.
- Strong experience in application design and configuration within the ServiceNow platform.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to custom applications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs to connect ServiceNow applications with external systems.
- Experience in managing application lifecycle including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow App Engine.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
