Position Overview:
The Head of Content will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with DeleteMe’s brand and business goals. This role will oversee the creation of content across all platforms, including social media, blogs, video content, and PR stories. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy, exceptional writing and storytelling skills, and experience in content creation that drives brand growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage a content calendar for all social media platforms, the company blog, email newsletters, and press releases.
-Write and produce compelling, original content on topics related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and personal security online.
-Collaborate with PR and marketing teams to create press materials and develop stories to push to the media.
-Create engaging video content for social channels and other platforms to educate and attract target audiences.
-Increase DeleteMe’s social media presence and engagement through strategic content distribution and community engagement.
-Analyze content performance metrics and refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
-Ensure consistent brand messaging and tone across all platforms.
-Stay current on industry trends, news, and emerging content platforms to continuously adapt and improve content strategies.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in content strategy, writing, and storytelling with a focus on cybersecurity, data privacy, or technology-related topics.
-Strong knowledge of social media platforms and experience growing an online presence for a brand.
-Demonstrated experience in video production, from scripting to publishing, and knowledge of video editing tools.
-Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
-Ability to work cross-functionally with PR, social media, and marketing teams.
-Strong project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
-Understanding of SEO best practices and how to implement them into content creation.
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
Preferred:
-Experience in SaaS or tech industries.
-Knowledge of PR tactics and experience working with media outlets.
-Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and video editing software.
