Required:
Must be enrolled in a state-approved RN Nursing school,
Must have completed minimum of one (1) semester of Basic Theory/Skills check-off and one (1) clinical rotation experience in an NLN accredited school of professional nursing.
Must have CPR Certification (BCLS), or obtain within 3-months of hire into this role
Preferred:
Patient care experience in acute care setting
Employees in this role must be fitted for, capable of donning and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment to include N95 masks, Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) or Controlled Air Purifying Respirators (CAPR).

Responsibilities:
Acquires initial and ongoing competencies required for specific role: completes initial orientation and ongoing unit-based competencies per standards; completes competencies for new/modified procedures per standards.
Provides care in an efficient and effective manner: organizes own workload to ensure completion during shift, in coordination with R.N. and other team members; seeks assistance from appropriate staff when necessary;
Utilizes down (unproductive) time toward patient and unit activities;
Accepts constructive feedback from peers/team members and takes corrective action when needed;
Informs R.N. of patient requests or complaints;
Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients; transports patients to other areas of the hospital as directed;
Promptly documents actions related to patient care per standards.
Performs other duties as defined by unit check list as delegated by R.N./Clinical Services Manager (CSM);
