The OU Health Nurse Residency Program provides the graduate nurse with resources and rich experiences that will serve as a strong foundation for a successful nursing career. OU Health nurse residents receive guidance and support from a primary preceptor and clinical education specialist to successfully bridge the transition from student to professional practice. The program features ongoing structured learning opportunities for residents, a strong social support network, mentoring and preparation to obtain national certification in their chosen specialty area. Candidates must have a current RN license or compact RN license to practice in Oklahoma prior to beginning the program and have less than one year of RN clinical experience to be eligible to enroll in our Nurse Residency Program.
Job Description: Under general supervision, provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.

The Level NG Adult Critical Care SEA Core RN will be in a part-time or full-time FTE position and commit to serving in two (2) hospitals, and one skill set-Critical Care.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques and procedures. Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills. Some computer skills.
