Job Summary: The Program Coordinator will support the administration of Johnson Controls Foundation, corporate philanthropy and volunteer programs, and the Sustainability & External Relations team. The ideal candidate will have a background in administration or program coordination, strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal corporate functions and be detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foundation Administration: Process grant payments and invoices, coordinate matching gift program and manage requests, coordinate scholarship program, assist in managing the budget, gather data for financial and related reporting, schedule and staff committee and board meetings, and be a resource for grantees as needed.
• Corporate Philanthropy and Volunteerism: Coordinate robotics and event sponsorship programs including managing the outreach for event attendance, support the planning and execution of philanthropy and volunteer related events in Milwaukee and virtually as needed.
• Sustainability & External Relations Team Administrative Support: Coordinate the processing of invoices across the team, manage travel and expense reporting for senior leaders on the team, and assist in managing overall team budget.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 1 year minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in philanthropy or external relations is a plus.

• Ability to create effective partnerships with internal teams.
• Demonstrable experience in managing critical areas for success, including program coordination and managing multiple processes and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with giving and volunteer platforms a plus.
