Contributes new ideas and approaches to ensure successful commercialization of new product
Leads the development and execution of a differentiated cross-functional brand plan, including strategy and tactic development, and budgeting
Collaborates with commercial analytics team to build market insights and develop pre-launch and launch strategies and education across diverse stakeholder groups to drive growth and strategic direction
Fosters strong partnerships with strategic marketing, medical affairs, market access, sales, legal, regulatory and other functions to ensure aligned objectives and implementation of brand strategies
Leads team in development and implementation of innovative HCP and patient programs, including personal and non-personal programs and peer-to-peer HCP education
Drives creation of US HCP & consumer-facing print and digital materials for field use
Understands key market trends and competitive environment to drive proactive strategies to maximize brand potential
Serves as marketing representative on promotional review committee for brand
Ensures timely and efficient review of promotional materials and complies fully with all legal, regulatory, ethical and company guidelines
Manages external agencies to ensure successful execution of marketing programs aligned with brand strategic imperatives
Manages/controls the brand operating budget
Builds relationships with thought leaders, advocacy groups and local/national organizations as needed to grow industry awareness
At all times, ensures compliance with all corporate polices, regulations and laws
Leads, develops, and evaluates team to ensure success in the function

BS/BA degree in scientific or business discipline and 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ years of strong marketing and/or sales experience in a pharmaceutical market. Experience managing outside agencies (creative & media), design firms, and internal teams to execute brand and strategic marketing direction. In-line brand marketing experience, including commercial launch OR
Master's or MBA degree preferred and 13+ years of related experience OR
PhD and 10+ years of related experience and extensive previous managerial experiences also required
Thorough understanding of the brand development process
Strong leadership attributes to generate commitment and constructively resolve issues
Must be comfortable leading teams in a fast-paced, consensus style environment; must operate cross-functionally in pursuit of business goals
Able to travel, 25%-50%
Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise within a strategic organization
Applies in-depth knowledge of own function, business / commercial / scientific expertise to solve critical issues successfully and innovatively
Evaluates key business / scientific challenges and completes complex, ambiguous initiatives having cross-functional impact

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $196,900.00-$268,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
