Job Summary
The Product Management team leads the strategy, development, implementation, and adoption of technology solutions and operational processes for Capital Markets (IB, Global Corporate Banking, GM OneClient) teams. Working closely with Technology, Operations, and all major stakeholder groups—including frontline businesses, Legal, Finance, Compliance, and Risk—the team ensures alignment and collaboration across the organization.
We serve as the primary liaison between Capital Markets and partners across Commercial Banking and Wealth, supporting the OneClient strategy by improving execution, governance, and system/process efficiency.
The team manages day‑to‑day business and technology needs, troubleshooting, requirement gathering, and implementation in support of strategic priorities set by senior Capital Markets leadership.
Our responsibilities include overseeing the strategic corporate development roadmap (IAAPs) and technology roadmap (TIP), balancing competing priorities, and ensuring alignment with BMO’s Ambition 2030 goals.
We are also accountable for identifying and escalating process deficiencies, recommending improvements, and coordinating testing and training needs—all while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.
This role supports senior leadership in executing strategic priorities and improving overall business performance. It involves gathering and analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing insights that guide decision‑making, strategic planning, and operational effectiveness. The position plays a key role in risk management, communication strategy, change management, and supporting enterprise‑wide initiatives.
The role collaborates closely across teams and external partners, helps develop business cases, monitors performance, and supports financial management processes. It also contributes to building reporting dashboards, improving information management systems, and providing strategic recommendations. Over time, the role evolves into a subject‑matter expert on relevant regulations, business operations, and industry best practices.
