KYC Specialist | Makati, The Philippines

Schedule: Mon-Friday, Mid shift (3pm-12am PH time)

The KYC (Customer Onboarding) team ensures that all customers who are onboard with GetGround complete the necessary due diligence to ensure compliance and integrity of our platform. As a KYC (Customer Onboarding) Specialist, you will serve as a front line representative for the company and ensure a seamless and professional experience for our customers.

What you will do:

  • Conduct due diligence and undertake a risk based analysis on proposed new customers  
  • Ensure compliance with international policies and procedures, regulatory, AML, and JMLSG
  • Escalate issues to our Compliance team where necessary
  • Interact in a professional manner directly with our customers, primarily by email but also over the phone
  • Ensure that customers experience and efficient and seamless process during the different stages of onboarding with us
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
  • Contribute to achieving team objectives and key results
  • Conduct ongoing due diligence using third party screening software

You should apply if you:

  • Have at least 1+ years of experience within in customer onboarding as a KYC specialist or analyst
  • Have experience with conducting due diligence on individuals and legal entities, including identity document verification and client screening (PEPs, adverse media etc.)
  • Comfortable working directly with customers from all over the world
  • Are motivated to learn new concepts, try new processes, and contribute feedback on how we can improve 
  • Are able to prioritise effectively across competing demands

It’s a bonus if you have the following as well:

  • An understanding of company structures or the UK property and/or financial services industry
  • Experience conducting enhanced due diligence and/or other compliance procedures (source of funds, transaction monitoring etc.)
