Program Overview 

  • 2-Year, two 12-month rotations , including but not limited to: Full-Stack Software Engineer, Cloud-native Engineer, Platform Engineer or Data Engineer.

  • Formal support provided through a mentorship program. Mentors will provide participants with exposure to other areas of the company and an opportunity to develop and diversify their skills and knowledge 

  • Professional Development opportunities via classroom training as well as on-the-job training, including hands-on practical skill building through each rotation as new graduates are exposed to business unit specific systems and various functional areas 

  • Program Start: June 2025

  

How you’ll make an impact 

  • Contribute to the design and development of system components (e.g., API, microservice, application) per defined architecture and platform specifications 

  • Analyze business requirements and contribute to design specifications for system components 

  • Create and execute unit tests ensuring system components operate as specified 

  • Track, communicate and suggest solutions for managing defects 

  • Interface with other dependent systems for scheduling and planning 

  • Clearly document system component modifications 

  • Perform basic analysis and debugging functions on existing system components 

  • Develop competency with possible supporting tools such as Java, JavaScript, Java Springboot, ReactJS, Azure AKS/ACS, APIM, Salesforce, .NET,   

  

What you’ll bring to the team 

  • Graduating from an accredited university with an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline 

  • Passion to be a professional software engineer/data engineer 

  • Understand object-oriented software development frameworks and design patterns 

  • Understand DevOps, Web and Mobile development and testing, Test Driven Development, Pair Programming, Data/Database technologies, Cybersecurity, microservices 

  • Understand Software Development Lifecycle approaches, especially Agile/Scaled Agile/Scrum development practices 

  • Understand current web technology standards and emerging technologies 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Future-oriented technical leadership skills 

  • Aptitude to solve business problems with technology

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Toronto, Ontario

Salary range is expected to be between

$59,570.00 CAD - $110,630.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
