As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, continuously improving software performance and adapting solutions to meet evolving business requirements. Collaboration and problem-solving are integral parts of the daily routine, ensuring that the software aligns with organizational goals and user expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP TM Transportation Management.
- Experience in designing and implementing custom software solutions within transportation management systems.
- Exp in S/4 must.
- Should have exp in Logistics Execution and EWM module as well
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and middleware used in enterprise environments.
- Competence in troubleshooting and optimizing system performance to meet business needs.
- Functional Consultant for SAP S/4 Transformation Program. Design to Deploy experience.
- Documenting Business Processes.
- Solutioning with SAP S/4. Mapping Business processes to SAP S/4 Modules.
- Experience preparing and running Fit-gap analysis, Fit-to-standard analysis workshops.
- Designing and Documenting Functional Design, Configuration Design.
- Maintaining configuration within SAP S/4. Transport management.
- Developing Test Scenarios, Scripts.
- Preparing – Test Data and executing test.
- Documenting – Cutover and Deployment Steps.
- Understanding of Module – Master Data, Key Transactions, SAP GUI, and SAP FIORI – Apps/Role understanding.



Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP TM Transportation Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
