You lead technical area(s) requiring scientific or agricultural experience or quantitative analysis and statistical modelling (such as Monitoring & Evaluating) and manage internal teams and partners as needed with the global manager to shape and align processes in their subject areas with the global approach.

How you will contribute

You will manage multiple collaborative research projects aimed at improving crop yield, quality, and sustainability while maintaining existing relationships or building new ones with research partners and potential collaborators. In addition, you will: initiate research projects as appropriate, shepherding projects from brief development through implementation; monitor project progress by regularly visiting research sites, participating in and/or leading review meetings, etc., and; facilitate meetings and site visits by Mondelēz International’s stakeholders (e.g., leaders and Research & Development team members).

What you will bring

A desire to lead the future for our company and accelerate you career with experience and knowledge in:

  • Agriculture, community development or measurement and evaluation
  • Understanding of cocoa agronomy, breeding and plant science
  • Understanding of the cocoa supply chain in origin from farm through to our processing facilities
  • Understanding of the issues relating to crop and/or cocoa sustainability and its business impact
  • Networking and negotiating skills
  • Working well with a wide range of stakeholders (for example, farmers, researchers, government and business leaders, and suppliers)
