Architectural Design: - LSAs are the chief architects of the PEGA solution. - They design the application's overall structure, including the class hierarchy, data model, security framework, and integration with other enterprise systems. - They ensure the design is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with PEGA's best practices (guardrails). - Technical Leadership & Mentoring: An LSA leads the development team, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior and senior system architects. - They foster a culture of technical excellence and ensure the team adheres to design standards and quality metrics. - Solution Scoping and Strategy: - They work closely with business stakeholders and Business Architects to translate business requirements into a robust technical design. - They are responsible for defining the project's technical scope, estimating effort, and identifying potential risks. - Performance and Optimization: LSAs are responsible for the performance.
