JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role will manage a 24 hour Care Team, hours may extend at time into evening and weekends.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Under the administrative and clinical supervision of the Director of Crisis Services, the Program Manager of Crisis Services consistently demonstrates a high-level clinical performance, leadership, organizational skills, and abilities promoting a departmental culture of excellence. The Program Manager of Crisis Services, is responsible for providing operational oversight for assigned team members and the services they provide.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervision of Crisis Care Consultants and Certified Peer Specialist.
  • Compliance with annual KPI evaluations and Catalytic Coaching.
  • Monitors and updated Crisis Care clinical and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates high-level clinical knowledge and skill in providing telephonic, electronic, and chat-based clinical screenings/assessments and crisis intervention.
  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively and efficiently obtain all information (i.e. demographics and clinical information) for accurate documentation in the electronic database.
  • Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with accrediting bodies.
  • Promotes a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
  • Attends team meetings, in-service trainings, supervision, and other quality assurance trainings.
  • Provides operational oversight of Crisis Care call and follow-up services, web-based services, and staff.
  • Monitors crisis call and follow-up access standards and reporting. Responsible for reporting any staff or program concerns/issues to Director of Crisis Services.
  • Assists in planning staff meetings, staff trainings, and staff development functions.
  • Assists in orientation, operational and clinical training of new clinical staff.
  • Responsible for completing clinical and operational supervision/training of staff as assigned.
  • Assists in administrative tasks as needed.
  • Serves as AAS Certification Exam proctor for clinical staff

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Responsive to clinical supervision and supervisory guidance.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and typing skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

         

Education Level              

Master’s degree in a related field of counseling, psychology, or social work, Professional License preferred. 1-3 years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor providing clinical screenings, crisis intervention services, or conducting clinical intake assessments. Responsive to clinical supervision and supervisory guidance. Ability to cultivate and work within a positive team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer and typing skills.

Years of Experience       

One to three years of experience as a Mental Health Counselor providing clinical screenings, crisis intervention services, or conducting clinical intake assessments.

Certification/Licensure 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Pay Range:

$48,300.00--$67,700.00
