Summary:
As a Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect designs scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. They lead architecture strategy, integrate third-party systems, ensure security and performance, and guide development teams. Their role bridges business needs and technical execution, delivering seamless, personalized customer experiences across digital commerce platforms. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing innovative solutions that address challenges across multiple teams, while maintaining a focus on quality and user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to understand the application requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and implement software solutions using Salesforce B2C Commerce platform.
- Test and debug applications to ensure their functionality and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Salesforce B2C Commerce.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development processes and methodologies.
- Ensure that the applications are developed according to the specified requirements and are aligned with the business goals.
- Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for e-commerce solutions
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)
• Deep understanding of SFCC architecture (controllers, pipelines, ISML, jobs, OCAPI, SCAPI)
• Experience in SiteGenesis and/or SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
• Mastery of Business Manager, including configuration, promotions, catalogs, and A/B testing
• Strong grip on Cartridges structure and multi-site architecture
- Backend Development
• JavaScript (server-side SFCC scripting)
• Node.js (for custom integrations or middleware)
• Custom job scripting and cron configuration
- Frontend Development
• ISML templates
• jQuery / vanilla JS
• Responsive design (HTML5, CSS3, Sass/LESS)
• Integration with CMS or headless architectures (optional but increasingly relevant)
- Integration Skills
• Integrating third-party systems like Payment gateways, Tax engines (Avalara, Vertex), ERP, OMS, PIM, etc.
• Experience with OCAPI (Open Commerce API) and SCAPI (Shopper APIs)
• RESTful APIs and webhooks
• Data feeds and SFTP integrations
- DevOps & Deployment
• CI/CD for SFCC using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions
• Experience with Page Designer, deployment via UX Studio or VSCode extensions
- Additional SF Core integrations
• SF Marketing cloud
• SFOMS
• Service cloud

- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Salesforce B2C Commerce.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
