Digital Account Manager, Automotive

United Kingdom; remote working opportunities available   

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Digital Product Automotive Director, you will manage the performance of our Vehicle Care Sales platform and Digital Accounts. This includes managing online customer interactions across both our sales and service platforms (Vehicle Care Platform). Also, you will manage our Automotive E-commerce activity creating growth across our main Accounts.

This will include oversight of our main digital accounts on performance and supporting our wider account teams to deliver increased growth across our Digital platforms. Alongside ownership across our Sales Platform support provided across our Online digital interactions supporting conversion growth across our digital claims.

You Will

  • Provide daily support across all our digital accounts within Automotive
  • Deliver targets including identifying operational efficiencies, opportunities for over-performance & developing & delivering actions plans to improve under-performance.
  • Work with internal specialists to improve sales performance by face-to-face, analogue and digital channels 
  • Develop detailed understanding of Auto client’s strategic intent, challenges and opportunities
  • Continue to grow online claims on the Digital accounts working in collaboration with important partners to increase volumes and overall performance

Assurant Auto UK Digital Growth

  • Develop and manage the strategic online marketing and delivery plans and ensuring that Vehicle care by Assurant is optimised to grow our existing accounts across Digital Product Renewals, Upsells and Cross sells
  • Set and Monitor goals and results across our digital assets for Sales and Service to ensure we are delivering with a focus on cost reduction and monitoring overall Cost of claim
  • Monitor main site metrics including Revenue, Conversion Rate, Bounce Rate, Traffic
  • Identify main improvements which will deliver growth across our digital platforms
  • Develop and implement our e-commerce strategy aligned with our goal in automotive
  • Understand market shifts and trends to align our strategy for our digital sales platforms  
  • Support Business Development in analysis of prospect requirements regarding our sales platform growth to grow attachment rates across all our product lines

You will have the following experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, information technology, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience of any of the following sectors: financial sectors, retailers, e-tailors, general insurance, warranty, automotive i.e. OEM or networks
  • Experience driving and achieving organic growth within account management and improving Digital Sales attachment rates
  • Experience in insurance sales processes and regulations with the ability to translate knowledge and experience into recommendations which contribute to the business.
  • A strong understanding of the general insurance/financial services and/or warranty business
  • Experience working directly with senior partners and client managing Ecommerce related relationships.
  • Proficiency in SEO, experience in website management, and the ability to analyse data.
  • Knowledge of web monitoring tools e.g. Google Analytics, screen recording tools
  • Deep understanding of Ecommerce sales journeys
  • Experience working with UX, Product and sales teams
