Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Finance plays a critical role in driving financial forecasting, planning, and analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making. This is an exciting (FP&A) role with significant exposure to Walmart US’ store expansion and modernization, supply chain automation, eCommerce strategy, and technology transformation. Due to the broad exposure of this role, the associate will have meaningful, weekly interactions with Finance VPs and SVPs.

About the team:
The End-to-End Central Financial Planning & Analysis (E2E FP&A) team plays a vital role in consolidating financial data, reporting, and delivering executive-level insights to senior leadership. This team partners across functions to analyze business performance, develop financial models, and support strategic decision-making. It ensures robust financial controls and transparency while driving business plans and projects. The team fosters a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, effective communication, and accountability, enabling informed financial management and risk mitigation aligned with company goals.

What you'll do...

  • Prepare detailed financial analyses and models to support planning and recommend future expense targets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to monitor business performance and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Communicate financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management with clear presentations.
  • Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards.
  • Become a thought leader and evangelist for process improvement and transformation across the E2E finance organization, particularly with the implementation of generative AI into our day-to-day
  • Collaborate across the Store Ops, Supply Chain, Real Estate and FP&A teams, build strong relationship with partners in Merchandise and Segment finance, and develop trust with VPs/SVPs across Walmart US.

  • Proven expertise in financial forecasting, planning, analysis, and modeling to support strategic business decisions.
  • Strong experience managing risk mitigation and control structures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to identify variances drivers

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
