Job Specific

  • Checks all supplies from stewarding department to ensure that needed equipment has been provided
  • Prepares coffee, tea, decaffeinated coffee, iced tea, lemonade, sodas and appropriate stations to expedite these beverages with prepared glasses with sliced lemons
  • Generates cream, milk, lemon and butter appropriate for the assigned function
  • Assists in the expediting of food from the hot boxes to trays for service to the guests
  • Prepares tables to be used for beverage and expediting stations
  • Maintains and organizes the back aisle during functions
  • Cleans daily coffee and iced tea brewing equipment
  • Cleans according to closing assignments, to include removal and return of all excessive equipment to the stewarding area, and sweeping and mopping all service aisles
  • Maintains cleanliness and stock of all refrigeration units
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Remains current with hotel information and changes
  • Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand the English language
  • Ability to lift and carry food service trays weighing 35+ pounds
  • Ability to safely move and set up banquet tables, chairs and equipment
  • Ability to stand, stoop and bend repetitively during entire shift
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
