Purpose;

The Event Manager (maternity leave cover) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing internal and external events that enhance Angle Auto Finance's brand presence.  This role will also support business development efforts, whilst engaging customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.  

The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong project management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, impactful internal and external client facing events. 

Key Deliverables; 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy in alignment with marketing goals and company objectives. 

  • Plan, organise, and manage a variety of events, including internal company events, corporate entertainment functions, corporate meetings, trade shows, client appreciation events, webinars, product launches, and industry conferences. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event objectives, messaging, target audience, and content. 

  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management including sourcing and manage relationships with external vendors, venues, suppliers, and partners to ensure smooth event execution. 

  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, transportation, catering, audio-visual requirements, and on-site management, managing  event registrations, attendee communications, and event promotion through appropriate channels. 

  • Post-Event Evaluation & Reporting 

  • Branding & Marketing Support 

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field would be preferred, but not essential 

Experiences;

  • Strong understanding of event logistics, budgeting, vendor management, and contractual negotiations. 

  • Experience with event management software and tools. 

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach. 

  • Previous experience in event management within the finance, automotive, or professional services sector 

  • Knowledge of the Australian automotive or financial services industry
