The Business Process Analyst role is responsible for supporting the execution of HR projects involving process improvement, system integrations, and organizational change. This role collaborates with HR partners, project teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders to help design, document, and implement standardized HR processes and tools across the organization.
Working closely with HR partners, project teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders, the Business Process Analyst gathers requirements, analyzes current‑state workflows, and supports the adoption of new processes and solutions that enhance HR effectiveness and the employee experience.
YOUR ROLE
- Partner with the business and HR teams to document as is processes, data flows, systems and users, and support the definition of future‑state (“to‑be”) standardized processes and guidelines.
- Employ various techniques to define, elicit, analyze, record, and validate requirements throughout the program lifecycle
- Investigate and understand business issues, HR data challenges, and compliance considerations that impact processes and integration requirements.
- Develop business process models, business requirements / user stories as required to support system changes and HR technology enhancements.
- Build collaborative relationships with business and HR stakeholders to ensure effective user acceptance testing, training material development, and smooth adoption of new processes and ways of working.
- Act as a business advocate and voice of the customer during project discussions, supporting the Program or Project Manager in ensuring that HR and business needs are understood and addressed.
- Use knowledge of business and technology to recommend systems and process opportunities to improve, expand, or retire existing capabilities & technology to increase the value to Aptiv.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, defining and measuring key performance indicators and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
- Plan and facilitate workshops and alignment meetings to achieve the alignment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Aptiv’s governance and regulatory obligations, leveraging documented audit trails, signoffs and records.
- Maintain appropriate governance of all activities in conjunction with program leadership, using appropriate escalation to maintain progress.
Your Background
- Degree and/or postgraduate degree in HR, Business or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of experience in business process analysis in a multinational corporate
- Working knowledge of Incident/Problem/Change Management frameworks such as ITIL v3, or ISO 9000:2000.
- Familiarity with process mapping and modelling techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data.
- Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and/or working knowledge of HR systems and applications e.g. Workday and Learning Management Systems
- Previous experience in a global organization.
- Knowledge of system integrations, ensuring proper data flow of HRIS information to other systems.
