Impact

We are looking to hire an Institutional Sales Executive. This individual will mentor the sales team & drive success across the segment. This role will be tasked with working with large complex clients, constantly raising the bar for success, and continuously establishing deep customer relationships, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow FalconX's institutional client base
  • Identify and qualify new prospects, including hedge funds, family offices, and other institutional investors.
  • Establish strong, lasting relationships with senior executives & decision-makers
  • Work cross-functionally with relevant departments & teams, such as Institutional Coverage, to deliver exemplary client satisfaction
  • Partner with leaders to align sales deliverables with business strategy & objectives
  • Research & attend relevant industry conferences as needed

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience
  • Direct experience in the crypto industry with at least 1 year at a crypto prime brokerage firm - deep knowledge of different types of cryptocurrencies, the underlying technology, and the regulatory landscape
  • Expertise with equity sales, derivatives, and hedge fund sales
  • Remarkable negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly & successfully relay a value proposition
  • Able to administer large complex clients
  • Superior attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a sales-minded, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented mindset
  • Be familiar with FalconX's products and services, including its trading and prime brokerage services,
  • An extreme passion for the crypto space

Advantages

  • Experience at an investment bank, prime brokerage, or buy side firm is beneficial

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with an expected annual compensation of $125,000.00 - $180,000. The actual compensation for a successful candidate may vary based on factors such as skill set, relevant experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.  This position also offers other forms of compensation and benefits consisting of overtime compensation (when applicable), relocation assistance (if applicable), performance-linked bonus, paid time off (including sick time) benefits, paid Company holidays, participation in the Company’s equity and 401k retirement plan, competitive employee health, dental, and vision benefits each subject to the terms and conditions of the governing plan documents and Company policies.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for both our commission and discretionary bonus.

Location

This role is intended to sit in our New York City office.
