What you'll be doing

As a Sr. Program Coordinator, Enterprise Programs, you’ll be part of the Chief Administrative Office group. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that project control procedures and standards are executed end to end in a project lifecycle across a wide range of large-scale strategic programs that are cross-organizational. You’ll work closely with the Program Director, Project Managers, and core business and PMO members to ensure program governance processes are effectively managed, program work artifacts are appropriately leveraged and practices adhered to across our programs. Through this work you get more exposure to the inner workings of Enterprise Program PMOs and large scale Program Management as a discipline.

How you’ll succeed 

  • Program Coordination – You will work with the Program Director and other team members throughout all phases of the Program Management lifecycle.  You will perform Program Control functions within the program PMO and provide technical, administrative guidance & support on key program artifacts (e.g. Financials, Program and Project Schedules, Change Request, Business Case support, etc.)  Assist to develop, manage, and control schedules by making continuous updates, escalating issues when necessary.  Proactively identify, capture & communicate key program activities including anything that will take workstreams off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. 
  • Tracking & Reporting –  You will track progress on milestones, response/resolution plans, change requests, issues & risks.  You process information with a high degree of accuracy with attention to the details.  Coordinate flow & management of documents for team and perform updates/reviews as required (using tools such as CIBC AI, SharePoint, Planview, Shared drive).  You have good time management skills.  Assist or lead the preparation of high quality, and compelling materials for various team and management meetings as required.  
  • Communication –  Develop compelling presentation materials to report Program status and support executive discussion and decision making.  Ability to produce a variety of business documents with clarity of thought and orderliness of presentation.  
  • Collaboration – Work closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.

  • You can demonstrate 1-3 years of experience in managing different facets of a project as a Project Analyst or Project Coordinator.  You understand project financial management, schedules and change request management.  Experience with large cross-organizational programs is an asset.

  • You're a certified professional It’s an asset if you have a PMP designation, or are in progress of obtaining.
