The Retail Operations & Visual Coordinator Internship is a Fort Wayne based, cross-functional support role that partners with Retail Operations, Sales, and Visual teams to ensure seamless execution of field communications, sales initiatives, and product-related studio operations. This role manages internal platforms, coordinates messaging, oversees product inventory for creative use, and contributes to the successful execution of showroom setups. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings exceptional organizational, project coordination, and communication skills. Anticipated time frame is four to six months beginning immediately.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

Retail Operations & Sales Support

  • Partner with Retail Operations to coordinate and execute field communications, sales events, and initiatives for retail sales channels.
  • Maintain SharePoint and Task Manager platforms including document uploads and calendar management ensuring content accuracy and continuous improvements.
  • Gather and distribute communications regarding sales contests, recognition programs, key sales dates, and promotional updates.
  • Serve as point of contact for field questions about store operations, contests, events, and directives.
  • Assist with special projects including store openings, channel meetings, and event preparation.
  • Prepare departmental mailings and maintain organized digital and physical records.

Studio & Visual Merchandising Coordination

  • Receive, manage, and distribute samples and inventory between Visual teams for photo shoots and showroom use.
  • Prep and process product for showroom setups.
  • Assist in tracking, organizing, and returning product post-shoot to appropriate storage areas.
  • Assist in maintaining clean, organized studio and warehouse spaces.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Visual Merchandising, Communications or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in retail, sales support, project coordination, or visual merchandising.
  • Experience working in a studio or product coordination environment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, SharePoint, and Task Manager preferred.

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Studio environment. Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
  • Office environment. Utilizing an office desk – sitting, reading, listening, or speaking with the ability to move intermittently throughout the day
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 55 lbs.
  • Strong sensory skills, such as good eyesight, good hearing, and dexterity
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones
  • Ability to climb ladders and stand on hard floors for long periods of time
