The Global Corporate Trust (GCT) Client Manager works closely with relationship managers and business development officers, serving as a collaborative business partner developing and maintaining relationships with corporate trust clients. Focuses on managing the day-to-day administration of accounts with a high level of expertise consistent with governing document requirements, regulatory guidelines and policies and procedures. Serves as one of the client's primary contacts, delivering a high level of customer service. Remains sensitive and responsive to both internal and external clients; builds distinctive predictable levels of service responding to inquiries and coordinates resolution of issues quickly and effectively while mitigating risk.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Acting as a resource for the client, works closely with internal partners to ensure resolution of issues in a timely fashion.
Engages relationship manager to ensure awareness and when needed for escalation.
First line of defense to protect trust assets through thoughtful, methodical, awareness of typical client behavior; use escalation and risk team as support for vetting concerns.
Adheres to business line Service Level Agreements.
Interacts with relationship managers, appropriate units related to standard and critical reporting.
Provides responsive and appropriate service regarding the overall administration of each account.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
Typically five to seven years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Experience working with CLOs and Credit Facilities
Thorough knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments
Thorough knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations
Thorough knowledge of the applicable trust line of business, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations
Ability to develop new business
Effective management skills to include planning, budgeting, and people management
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
Ability to communicate quickly with clients to resolve client issues and disputes
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $102,340.00 - $120,400.00 - $132,440.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
