About the Role
As a Vendor Business Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing our vendor relationships and ensuring smooth operations in pricing, sales, and purchasing. Your primary responsibilities will involve updating and managing price files, creating sales and purchase agreements, generating quotes, and understanding vendor quoting requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the various Vendor groups, taking direction to align vendor strategies with product development objectives.
What You’ll Do
· Regularly review and update price lists provided by vendors.
· Ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing information is available for internal teams.
· Coordinate with vendors to obtain necessary pricing updates and implement changes.

· Manage the documentation process, including revisions and approvals.
· Prepare quotes for customers based on pricing information and customer requirements.
· Respond to quote requests promptly and accurately.
· Collaborate with the sales team to review and finalize quotes as needed.
· Familiarize yourself with vendor-specific quoting processes and guidelines.
· Stay informed about changes or updates in vendor pricing policies.
· Proactively communicate vendor quoting requirements to the relevant teams.
· Collaborate with the Product Manager to align vendor strategies with product development goals.
· Receive and execute directives from the Product Manager related to vendor relationships.
· Provide regular updates to the Product Manager on vendor performance and opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
· 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
· Associate’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma required.
· Proficient in executing instructions and requesting clarification when needed.
· Basic data entry and mathematical skills.
· Detail-oriented with accuracy and efficiency.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to create and conduct formal presentations.
· Proficient in using common office equipment.
· Strong organizational and time managem ent skills.
· Adaptable to change and able to work under pressure.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
· Strong multitasking and collaborative abilities.
· Sensitive to the needs and concerns of others.
· Able to talk on the phone or wear a headset for extended periods.
· Able to remain immobile or standing/walking for extended periods.
· Quick learner, adaptable to new systems and technology.
· Basic proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications.
· Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as needed.
· Professional, hybrid office environment.
