This position plays a supporting role on the Real Estate Services team for the American Red Cross (ARC). The Senior Consultant – Power BI Developer shall be responsible for data analysis specific to Real Estate Costs across 950 sites with an estimated 10 million square feet, ARC owns, leases and receives donated facilities of office, industrial, and retail types.
American Red Cross is currently seeking to hire an experienced Power BI Developer to become part of American Red Cross Real Estate Department. The Microsoft Power BI Developer will be responsible for generation, operation, and maintenance of Power BI applications. The role will also be responsible for interpreting functional requirements into technical designs for BI solutions utilizing Power BI and related tools. The developer will need to understand requirements and transform the business use cases into building applications for end users. Develop a Power Platform Center of Excellence with other resources to develop best practices, share knowledge and ideas, and train power users and subject matter experts.
Ideal candidates should have experience with corporate real estate databases, proficiency in Power BI, and strong Excel and financial analysis skills. This position will play a key role in providing key metrics and analysis of all real estate data and will also support creating financial models for the regions to help decide the ROI on future capital spend. The role demands an analytical, detail- oriented professional who can work independently, guide the reporting team, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Develop and execute fact-based reporting, analysis, dashboards, and analytical models to improve decision-making. Monitor KPIs, analyze performance data, and work in cross functional teams to influence improvements, to include benchmarking, market analysis and environmental scanning. Gather metrics and drive processes to operationalize reporting, track performance indicators and build dashboards to proactively highlight opportunities and recommend solutions. Serve as a subject matter expert on usage and interpretation of data and explain nuances to business users in a clear and concise manner.
Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and support for Business Analytics Department while we support our clients Strategic Planning, Operations Support, Transaction Management and Portfolio Administration groups. Manages cross-functional relationships across Real Estate Services to ensure all requested reporting meets end-to-end business support needs.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Skills & Abilities: Must have high attention to detail. Advanced skills in Excel required. May require SQL and experience with other programming languages associated with data analytics (Python, Power BI, PowerPivot, etc.). Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively, assimilate information quickly, analyze problems, and recommend appropriate technical and business solutions. Ability to proactively engage additional partners and resources (e.g. Finance, HR, process/project leads). Ability to develop clear presentations & stakeholder communications. Ability to manage both details and overview picture to achieve project goals successfully. Ability to work on a team.
Travel: May require some travel.

PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
