Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect with technical expertise, strong business analysis and customer engagement skills in support of an AWS cloud-based network ecosystem involving Microsoft services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide systems engineering, orchestration, and administrative support for multiple deployed applications and environments.
  • Support solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, creating installation instructions and deployment plans, deploying and upgrading virtual machines, providing operations and maintenance, along with troubleshooting support.
  • Coordinate closely with development teams and project management.
  • Design and engineer software deployment services from a centralized software repository to virtual desktops in the cloud.
  • Adhere to AGILE methodology and execute stories, as assigned by a Scrum Master
  • Assist the Project Manager in advising level of complexity and effort of technical implementation details
  • Interface with a large customer supported by multiple vendors, government, and military personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of technology and engineering experience
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and utilize Powershell scripts for automated software deployments
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage existing, and modify, Group Policies in a Windows environment
  • Understanding of orchestration tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Demonstrated experience in an AWS hosted Infrastructure as Code

Security Clearance:

  • Must have an active Top Secret with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:
$97,300$196,500 USD
