Who will you be working with?

The Sr Systems Administration Engineer will work as a member of a seasoned Information Technology (IT) team located in Melbourne, Florida. This person will require deep, focused, and varied experience specifically with supporting production Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) environments. The Sr Systems Administration Engineer will plan, coordinate, and administer RHEL environments for both development and customer-facing production environments that requires deep hands-on development, design, and implementation with an end goal being a fully automated environment deployment using Ansible.

How will you make a difference?

• Manage the virtual platform ecosystem (installation, upgrade, patching, monitoring)
• Assist in change management of virtual machine (VM) and container platforms for new versions of Linux, OpenShift, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc.
• Proficient in SAN deployment and support (Hitachi and Dell preferred)
• Provides L3 engineering support
• Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Other duties as assigned

What do we want to know about you?

• 8+ years’ Experience in Information Technology Field.
• Minimum of 5 + years of industry experience working with Linux and Cloud technologies and handling DevOps Functions for complex systems.
• Experience in VMware Virtualization infrastructure.
• Experience in CI/CD Pipeline.
• Have networking experience and understanding of network Protocols, DNS, VPN and Load Balancing.
• Have scripting experience in shell, python.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Expertise with Kubernetes.
• Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
• Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
• Experience working with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform or Ansible
