The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for the management and day-to-day operation of marketing technology, and marketing automation strategy, specifically Salesforce and other adjacent platforms. This role involves building and executing email deployments, automated campaigns, and working cross-functional teams to optimize marketing efforts and drive growth through digital channels.

Position Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaign Journey Strategy & Management

  • Design and execute customer journey strategies based on behavioral and data insights.
  • Build and execute stand-alone email deployments, trigger-based automated email journeys, and comprehensive automated campaigns.
  • Test and QA marketing automation programs to ensure flawless execution and continuous improvement.
  • Launch, optimize, and scale marketing campaigns across digital channels to drive growth. Use data-driven insights to refine and improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with MarTech teams to ensure smooth execution and optimization of marketing results. Oversee the operation and management of marketing technology and automation systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce and other integrated platforms.
  • Design and execute email marketing experiments, including A/B and multivariate testing, to test hypotheses, learn from results, and iterate on approaches.
  • Maintain the contact database, including uploading lists, maintaining segmentation, and upholding data hygiene standards.
  • Optimize email deliverability while working to minimize list decay and unsubscribes.
  • Design and create emails, landing pages, templates, forms, nurture programs, lead scoring models, and other campaign assets. Ensure all assets are built in accordance with industry best practices.

Reporting

  • Generate and analyze insights to drive significant revenue growth and improve campaign performance.
  • Use data to inform strategic decisions and optimize marketing efforts.
  • Measure, segment, and optimize lead nurturing workflows to enhance engagement, efficiency, and scalability. Segment lists based on demographic, firmographic data, and behaviors such as past email engagement and website interactions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation in the financial service, insurance and other relevant industries.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing, lead nurturing, and customer segmentation.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data privacy laws and regulations related to marketing.

Salary range is expected to be between

$84,375.00 CAD - $151,875.00 CAD
