Title:

3D CAD Model Manager

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for overall E 3D CAD database software management

- Support Company Project Systems Integration Map and configure all 3D CAD systems and associated databases per project specifications

- Responsible for project set up for E 3D CAD (Global Work Share) with Hub and Satellite configuration and deploy and roll out to the project

- Lead 3D CAD Coordinators team and provide the requisite support to the team and to the project right from the START / Set up phase until completion / handover of E 3D CAD project database to Client

- Develop and issue the project E 3D CAD Execution Plan in compliance with KBR Std. 3D CAD Execution Plan associated with KBR SRO set up

- Responsible for AVEVA Global execution requirements:

  • Construct PDMS/E3D project (DB’s) to best facilitate WBS and work
  • scope split
  • Ensure naming convention will work with the proposed scope split (will
  • location identifiers be needed, etc.) ­
  • Set up and monitor scheduled updates between locations ­
  • Education of users (functionality and philosophy of global working) ­
  • Set up, monitor, and control global transactions (Flushing, Issuing,
  • Claiming) ­
  • Coordinate distribution of databases between locations

-Administer and manage clash application(s):

  • Customize automated allocation ­
  • Automated acceptances ­
  • Clash conditions and tolerances

- Provide support towards MDS (Multi Discipline Supports) using AVEVA / KBR – in house tool

- Model review coordination:

  • Produce customized exports

- Set up various types of customized Reports and its configuration to suit project requirements

- Responsible for scheduling and generating Navis Works Files generation and scheduling to project specific requirements

- Multi discipline coordination activities for E 3D CAD Admin support

- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance and support for 3D project data:

  • Schedule administrative tasks
  • Perform data integrity checks
  • Run the interference detection process (clash checks)
  • Produce reports
  • Perform database maintenance
  • Perform project backup and restore
  • Ensure data consistency

 

Job Requirements:

- Graduate in Engineering or Information Technology with minimum 20 years of relevant work experience in executing E 3D CAD projects in the Oil & Gas industry

- Experience in Engineering / EPC companies with executing large scale projects with AVEVA E 3D Database and associated tools / utility

- Having good understanding and experience in Engineering workflow in particular 3D CAD project execution methodology with Global Work Share setup configuration

- Experience with Oil and Gas Offshore/Onshore projects with hands-on involvement in projects but not limited to:

  • AVEVA Global, AVEVA Administration, E3D & PDMS
  • Multi Discipline Support administration (MDS)
  • Catalogue and Specification
  • Draft Administration settings (representations, styles, hatching libraries, backing sheets, symbol libraries, etc.)
  • Isometric Administration settings (Underlay, Isometric option files, etc.)

- Data flow / interfaces from 2D tools into 3D tools

- Knowledge and experience in Aveva Engineering and data flow across 2D tools and 3D tools into AVEVA Engineering is an added advantage
