POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Head of the Application Services Chapter, the Senior Software Developer is an integrated role within the IT solutions delivery team. The Senior Software Developer is expected to participate in the full development lifecycle, starting with planning and estimating, developing, implementing, and deploying complex services, orchestrations, and integrations as required in a context of continuous integration and deployment. Working smoothly, in a fast-paced environment and in collaborative working mode will be the norm.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
• Maintenance and upgrade of existing components.
• Ensure that the team uses appropriate engineering practices, invests in continuous tooling or technical debt improvements, and that the system evolves to meet its needs and changing environment.
• Compliance with architecture, safety, and industry best practice standards by application/product
• Communication/collaboration with other teams and within the team
• Define and review programming codes to ensure that development standards are adhered to and compatible with software, analysis, and design, following "best practices" in documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to develop functional specifications to understand solutions and business complexities.
• Provide first-level technical support to resolve production issues and provide support according to established service levels.
• Develop, implement and deploy complex services, orchestrations and integrations following requirements and functional specifications in a context of continuous integration and deployment in all environments up to Production.
• Design, document, develop and implement appropriate technical solutions based on information architecture, taxonomic analysis and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop unit tests and ensure their proper execution.
• Ensure the repair of failures before the delivery of the software.
• Act as a representative of the FrontEnd team in the various initiatives, projects, evolutions, in order to maintain the sustainability of the operation of the software from an infrastructure and configuration point of view.
• Actively participate in daily Scrums
•Adapt to changing technology, learning and applying new methods to achieve organizational goals and follow best practices for the financial and IT industry.
• Control the quality and stability of the IT systems provided by following standard product lifecycle development (PLC) practices.
• Integrate the use of AI into its development activities to maximize productivity.
