Controller (F/M)

The Renault Group's Data Protection Officer is looking for a Controller to assist its team in monitoring and controlling the data processing projects actions plans.

Your mission

For projects involving personal data

  • Ensure that the action plans defined by the various project managers are carried out (meeting deadlines, checking deliverables) and issue alerts if not
  • Check that the Group's personal data processing monitoring tool is properly documented by project managers as per the requirements of the privacy by design process
  • Carry out control campaigns in the tool to verify the completeness of existing documentation for projects already delivered and live
  • Where necessary, assist subsidiaries' DPO with action plans shared across the Group and subsidiaries

For reporting 

  • Assist the project manager of the Group's Data Protection team in the production of performance and risk indicators on data processing
  • Participate in the preparation of information documentation for the Group's DPO, legal, internal control, audit, CSR teams, etc

Cross-functional missions 

  • Help with creating training and e-learning for employees & dealers

What will help you succeed in this role?

Essential

  •  Auditor or controller (or) Lawyer (Master 2 in Data Protection Law, Intellectual Property or Data Governance, Compliance) with a strong aptitude for control, project documentation and reporting
  • Attention to detail, rigor and respect for confidentiality
  • Experience or knowledge in project management
  • Experience on delivering training and e-learning
  • Define systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Utilize data validation, data security, and data sensitivity requirements
  • Understand a client’s problem statement in regards to data, across migration, data governance and analytics
  • Very good level of English

  • Intellectual curiosity to understand the current and future challenges of Renault Group projects
