Responsibilities
Analyse and mathematically characterize non-invasive blood pressure waveforms.
Perform statistical performance analysis and select the optimal methods for maximizing algorithm performance.
Implement algorithm prototypes and integrate them into embedded device software running on hardware platforms for real-world testing.
Validate algorithm performance through automated and manual on-device testing.
Be part of continuous improvements in tools and our ways of working for happier employees and customers.
Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Information Processing or equivalent.
Experience with signal processing and/or data analysis with MATLAB and/or Python.
Ability to document the development process e.g., as a Master Thesis work.
Desirable skills
Experience with embedded software development on hardware platforms (e.g., microcontrollers, real-time operating systems).
Experience in modelling physiological signals.
Curiosity, eagerness to learn and commitment to continuous improvement.
Resilience and ability to perform effectively in demanding or fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and statistical methods.
Experience in C and C++ programming.
Knowledge or experience with software development lifecycle in medical devices.
