Position Overview
As a Senior Professional Services Consultant, you'll leverage your deep technical expertise to guide clients through the entire implementation lifecycle, ensuring optimal design, configuration, and performance. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where you'll work directly with clients, partners, and internal teams to deliver exceptional results. In addition to deployment, you'll play a pivotal role in post-sales account management, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving ongoing adoption of Menlo solutions. Your technical acumen and ability to communicate complex concepts will be instrumental in maximizing customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to understand their unique requirements, translating those needs into detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) that guide successful implementations
Conduct comprehensive Menlo cloud security assessments, showcasing the value and capabilities of our solutions to customers
Develop and deliver high quality documentation that empowers customers with the knowledge they need to effectively utilize our products
Seamlessly integrate Menlo solutions with existing customer environments, leveraging your expertise in SSO, Azure, AD, Proxies, Cloud API, VM's & Firewalls
Design and execute rigorous test plans to validate solution functionality and performance
Proactively manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of services and exceeding customer expectations
Provide expert training and comprehensive documentation to equip customers for long-term success
Build strong relationships with customers, serving as their trusted technical advisor and advocate
Champion customer needs and feedback, collaborating with internal teams to drive product improvements and innovation
Monitor and report on product performance, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement
Develop innovative solutions to streamline support processes and reduce costs
Partner with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
Job Requirements
8+years of prior work experience in similar positions (e.g. Solutions Architect, Systems Engineer, Technical Marketing Engineer, or a Support Engineer).
Ability to travel up to 50% to partner sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
Prior experience in early-stage startups and self-motivated
Strong customer-facing skills, able to build strong relationships with clients and serve as their trusted technical advisor
Excellent problem solver via collaboration and running sessions to come up with new, innovative ideas.
Strong communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to listen, learn and incorporate others ideas into all aspects of the job.
Experience with working with Fortune 500 companies
Professional experience architecting and operating solutions built on (in order of preference): AWS, and GCP
Experience with Hypervisors (in order of preference): VMware and KVM.
Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to: Proxies, NG Firewalls, SSL/IPSec, SSO, DLP, CASB gateways, Load Balancer, Cloud APIs and SIEM
Working knowledge of authentication systems such as LDAP, SSO, Azure AD/Entra ID and MS Active Directory/ADFS
Familiarity with TCP/IP, SSL, IPSec, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, SSH protocols
Versatile with using various operating systems including Windows, Mac, and GNU/Linux
Hands-on knowledge with network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Traceroute, and MTR
Linux/Ubuntu system
Scripting Language (Bash/Python) is a bonus
Industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, CISSP or CCSP is a bonus.
