What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS Special Operations Planner, you will be nested with USFS & USCENTCOM by providing a multi-year plan; Commander’s Estimates and program plans in support of USFS and US CENTCOM goals and objectives.  The focus is the US CENTCOM AOR with Central Asia at the initial priority followed by the Levant, Central Gulf States and Middle East.  You will provide strategic and operational level analysis and advice pertaining to DOD wide climate policy, strategy, trends and predictive analysis with focus on partner capacity building, contingency planning, and national security.   

More About the Role:

As an Interagency US Forest Service(USFS)-US CENTCOM Planner, you will analyze trends to support decision-making to counter current and future threats.  You will be responsible for supporting the integrating of workplan activities with interagency partners in the CENTCOM AOR in coordination with the USFS Program Manager and USFS Team.   In addition to the CENTCOM AOR, you will coordinate closely with the USFS Program Manager and USFS Asia Pacific,  Africa and Middle East team members on planned activities  ensuring they are in line with CENTCOM funded USFS-implemented activities are conducted in line USFS Programs and USFS Teams 

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance, willing to submit to a CI Poly.
  • More than three years of specialized experience in military or IC compartmented activities (IJSTO, SAP, ACCM, etc.).
  • Be deployable to the required theater of operations, usually conducting periodic travel within CONUS and short-term to OCONUS locations.
  • You must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead and supported unit on product development.
  • A Bachelor’s degree and seven years of experience or ten years of relevant work experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • More than three years of experience with SOF, SMU, and Special or Technical Units of Federal, State, or Local Law Enforcement.
  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), including mission analysis, COA decision and CONOP approval briefings, D3A execution matrices, CONOP documents, and FRAGOs.
  • Working knowledge of ACW and C5ISR and/or other emerging weapons or threats.
  • Experience and capability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications.
  • Practical understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, and web-based intelligence tools and databases available through SIPR and JWICS.
  • Must be able to work independently with some government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,000 - $163,800
