We are seeking a skilled and experienced Divisional Marketing Manager who will report to the CEO of GEL Building Supplies. The successful applicant must reside in one of our operating territories and will be tasked with driving the growth and visibility of the brands within the regional market by developing and executing innovative marketing strategies. This role aims to enhance customer engagement, increase market share, and align marketing efforts with business objectives, ultimately contributing to the overall success and profitability of GEL Building Supplies.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to the regional market needs of GEL Building Supplies.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

  • Drive digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns.

  • Oversee campaign execution, including advertising, promotions, and product launches across multiple markets.

  • Conduct user research and analyze feedback to improve the online customer experience.

  • Oversee the execution and management of the customer rewards program to enhance customer engagement and retention.

  • Implement AI-driven marketing tools to optimize strategies and operations.

  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements for cost-effectiveness and quality.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and brand performance.

  • Report financial performance, campaign expenses, and projected ROI to senior management.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and performance excellence.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the building supplies or construction industry preferred.

  • Proven experience in managing successful marketing campaigns and leading teams.

  • Ability to travel across the region to support marketing initiatives and collaborate with sales teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, market research, and customer

  • Proficiency in digital tools and technologies (e.g., CMS, CRM, SEO tools, Google Analytics).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with CRM, loyalty programs, and AI-driven marketing tools is a plus.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in use of Windows PC and navigation of the internet

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative, Canva or any design program

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM software, and project management applications.
