POSITION:                   Ticket Seller

DEPARTMENT:             Finance

Summary:

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for  a Ticket Seller to collect and sell tickets for public events held at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.  This position embraces an excellent customer service culture by frequently going above and beyond to courteously respond to inquiries from public show attendants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Dealing courteously with the public face-to-face
  • Provides information to the public regarding tickets and facility
  • Assists customers with ticketing issues and complaint resolution
  • Maintains a professional and polite relationship with co-workers, clients, and the public
  • Maintains work area in a professional, neat and clean manner
  • Adheres to Ticket Selling processes

Education and/or Experience          

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 6 months cash handling experience.
  • 1-year experience in a customer service, retail, or hospitality preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: must display patience, humor and helpfulness at all times.
  • Ability to make rational decisions and assist customers with problem solving;
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Company, employees, events, clients and all related matters regarding such parties.
  • Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills: accuracy is essential.
  • Ability to work and function both independently and in a team environment
  • Possess professional presentation, appearance and work ethic

Computer Skills  

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with Microsoft
