Required Skills & Experience for MDG ABAP
Technical Skills
ABAP Technical expertise. (OOABAP, WORKFLOWS, FPM-WEBDYNPRO)
Hands on experience in SAP MDG (Finance domain) .
Minimum 2 implementation in SAP MDG covering inbound and out bound integration, designing custom data model and UIs for SAP MDG
Hands-on exposure to Fiori/UI5 application architecture, OData, CDS Views.
Experience in SAP BRF+ used as central business rule engine.
Understanding of CBO (Custom Business Objects) in SAP S/4HANA.
SAP integration patterns: SOA services, BAPIs, APIs.
Assist MDG design and implementation of MDG projects
Understanding of SAP Security role design (Authorization)
Strong ABAP experience to guide the team to address enhancement requirements to existing ABAP Reports/Applications.
Strong knowledge on configuration of MDG applications
Hands on experience with implementation of BADI's, classes & Methods, Data replication techniques, MDG error handling experience. Validations and derivations, SOA Manager.
Experience in master data governance process setup
Ability to explore, expose and advise on best-in-class practices in SAP MDG solution stack
Master Data Governance Develop and implement Finance Master data solutions in SAP MDG
Implement and customize SAP MDG solutions to align with the specific needs of clients.
Strong hands-on experience in SAP AIF framework (error handling, actions, mappings) is mandatory.




Functional Skills
Good knowledge of Finance master data and usage of the same in finance operations.
SAP MDG functional knowledge (Data Model, Change Request, Edition)
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and receptive to new ideas.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and leadership capabilities.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive solution ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in SAP MDG.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance transform
