Position Summary
We are looking for a SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform Developer with 6–7 years of experience to design, build, and support modern workplace solutions. The role focuses on SharePoint Online (modern sites, lists/libraries, SPFx customizations) and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), with strong integration capabilities across Microsoft 365.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions on SharePoint Online using modern capabilities (sites, pages, web parts, lists, libraries, content types, hub sites).
- Build custom components using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), including React-based web parts/extensions (as needed).
- Develop business applications using Power Apps (Canvas apps; Model-driven apps a plus) and implement Power Automate workflows (approvals, integrations, notifications, escalations).
- Configure and extend Dataverse (tables, relationships, business rules, security roles) where applicable.
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI (data modeling, DAX basics, SharePoint/Dataverse connectors).
- Implement security and governance practices: permissions, sharing, DLP policies (in collaboration with admins), environment strategy inputs.
- Support deployments across environments (Dev/Test/Prod), manage solution packaging, versioning, and release documentation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance/usability.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solution options, and deliver user training/handovers.
- Create technical documentation (architecture, configuration, runbooks) and follow SDLC/Agile practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–7 years of overall experience in Microsoft collaboration/app development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:SharePoint Online (Modern experience)Power Apps (Canvas apps mandatory)Power Automate (cloud flows, approvals, connectors)
- Working knowledge of:SharePoint Lists/Libraries, permissions, site design, and information architectureREST APIs, Microsoft Graph basics, and integrating external/internal systemsJavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals; React preferred for SPFx work
- Experience with Power Platform governance concepts (environments, solutions, connectors, DLP).
- Good understanding of authentication/authorization concepts in M365.
