Site IT Operations Coordinator & Asset Specialist  - Airbus Commercial Engineering Center 

As part of Airbus's ambition to grow a proficient and competitive Engineering organisation, we are launching a Commercial Aircraft Engineering Centre in Poland. This initiative aims to leverage Poland's talent pool and technological ecosystem, specifically in the field of Propulsion systems, while supporting our broader Engineering workload and competitiveness requirements, and reinforcing Airbus’ strategic engagement with Poland.

Role Overview 

Join Airbus Poland Engineering center, as the Site IT Operations Coordinator & Asset Specialist 

You will be the IT focal point  for the Kraków Center, ensuring that all IT support activities in Kraków are performed in time and support business continuity.

The mission will have two dimensions:

  • the first part that will be related to the activities dependant from central Airbus commercial solutions (mostly asset related and proximity support actions)
  • the second part where the local team will be fully in charge and will not be dependant from a central team

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs asset management service masterisation actions, HW ownership incl. Stock, Leasing & HW support
  • Ensures HW provisioning  leasing, stock mngmt, , device enrolment & ZTE setup, local support service
  • Manages the local hardware and consumables 
  • Ensures the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades.
  • Maintains the infrastructure in operational condition in line with OLA/SLAs.
  • Monitors and tracks system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage the Security Exception requests.
  • Communicates improvement, updates and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product Manager.
  • Provides support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, depending on the needs of the company and the use of automated scheduling and remote monitoring.
  • Performs the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management. Participate in documentation and process building.
  • Analyses console messages, diagnoses system failures and takes corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed.
  • Supervises system backup processing, and leads disaster recovery tests. Identifies and implements technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment.
  • Propose continuous improvement solutions.

The Ideal Profile

  • IT or engineering degree 
  • between 3 to 5 years of professional  IT related experience
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM) & Logistics knowledge as a large part of activities consist masterization, leasing, and stock management
  • Infrastructure Operations & Business Continuity knowledge as  the guardian of local infrastructure availability and data integrity
  • ITIL Framework & Technical Support knowledge to perform structured support methodologies rather than ad-hoc troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in English  
  • Resilience & stress tolerance 
  • Cross-functional communication skills to relay product updates, local issues, and hardware obsolescence data directly to the IT Product Manager 
  • An optimization mindset to look at current workflows and propose solutions that boost system reliability and efficiency. 
  • Rigorous attention to detail
