About the Opportunity

As our 3PL Supervisor Iberia, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our logistics operations across Iberia. You act as the operational bridge between Driscoll’s and our third-party logistics partners, ensuring smooth daily execution, strong performance, and continuous improvement.
While our warehouse in Boavista is owned by Driscoll’s, the day-to-day operations are managed by our logistics partner DHL. This means you will work closely with approximately 200 on-site employees across inbound, outbound, and production activities. Although these teams are not your direct reports, they are critical stakeholders in your success.
You will be based in Boavista, with travel to our Tavira location approximately once every 2–3 weeks.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will operate at the heart of our logistics network, ensuring seamless coordination between Driscoll’s and our 3PL partners. You will take ownership of day-to-day operational performance while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and collaboration across all stakeholders.

  • Oversee daily operations of our 3PL partners, ensuring alignment on priorities, planning, and execution

  • Act as the main point of contact between internal teams (Planning, Quality, Sales) and warehouse operations

  • Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, cooling times, and service levels, and drive performance improvements

  • Ensure strict adherence to cold chain protocols to maintain product quality

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement pragmatic solutions

  • Manage costs and validate 3PL invoices in line with agreed contracts

  • Support compliance with quality and certification standards (e.g., BRC)

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics processes

Transformation & challenge

A key focus area in this role will be supporting and embedding changes driven by our Aurora transformation project. The biggest challenge will be to successfully bring the warehouse organization along in these changes—ensuring alignment, engagement, and adoption across all stakeholders on site.

Operational environment

  • Warehouse of around 200 people (inbound, outbound, production)

  • Stakeholder-heavy environment (no direct reports)

  • Peak seasons in May–June and September, requiring flexibility and strong operational control

  • Multi-site responsibility (Boavista and Tavira)

What we offer

At Driscoll’s, you will join a fast-growing, international organization with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a dynamic supply chain environment and play a key role in a major transformation journey.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, stakeholder-driven environment. You are able to balance operational oversight with strategic thinking and have the ability to influence and drive change, even without direct authority.

  • 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Hands-on, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Able to operate under pressure, especially during peak seasons
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in the fresh produce sector is a huge plus
