The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) is seeking to hire a Research Associate to work on the development of model predictive control algorithms for autonomous robots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of model predictive control algorithms for autonomous robots

Job Requirements:

  • A Master degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Maths, Physics, or any related field

  • Strong background in control theory, and/or optimisation-based algorithms

  • Proficiency in programming languages in Python and C/C++

  • A curious and ambitious mindset for research
