About Our Team:
The Digital Engineering space is home to deeply talented colleagues that work to design, build and test customer products and platforms end-to-end. They not only scale and mature solutions to acquire and grow our customer base, but they also support platforms and frameworks, champion engineering excellence and enhance the customer digital experience around partnerships, servicing, lending, marketing rewards, and offers and payments.
The Digital Cloud Adoption Technical Lead will play a key role to enable and lead Global Consumer programs towards the adoption of OpenShift/ECS Private Cloud and OpenShift/Public Cloud with partnerships across our development teams, Enterprise & Architecture teams, DevOps Operations, as well as various Citi Technology Infrastructure Teams. Requiring a focus on expanding the adoption of private/public cloud as a part of our Cloud Continuum strategy to move to Kubernetes based Private Cloud Platforms (ECS/OpenShift) which will enable the path towards Public Cloud, while enacting as a Trusted Partner to the application development teams to foster a culture of Forward Compatibility.
Over time, this role will include the Public Cloud adoption and support AWS, GCP, or Azure technologies by implementing best practice automation as a primary initiative. Responsible for coordinating with dependency teams including Architecture to define the roadmap, architectural and deployment patterns, and defining a migration path from PCF to OpenShift. Accountability will include identifying potential Application areas ready for Migration and partner closely to ensure smooth transition as they migrate to OpenShift. This role will also be part of a wider Cloud Adoption team comprising of employees and contractor across US and India.
