The Program Manager R&D PMO supports cross‑functional Core Teams in delivering product development projects across the full lifecycle—from concept and design through development, manufacturing, launch, and commercialization. This role helps ensure projects meet defined scope, schedule, and budget requirements while maintaining compliance with design control standards and regulatory expectations. Success is measured by quality of deliverables, effective team coordination, and timely progression of product development activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Applies solid technical and business process knowledge to contribute to the development of solutions for moderately complex problems. Partners with platform and Core Team members to support development, commercialization, go‑to‑market, and launch activities.
  • Supports creation and maintenance of project work breakdown structures, project plans, and product requirements. Coordinates inputs from functional areas and helps identify key interdependencies to maintain project alignment.
  • Executes project tasks within defined parameters, collaborating with functional and multifunctional teams. Recommends adjustments to project methodologies and approaches to improve efficiency and obtain reliable results.
  • Ensures quality conduct of project activities, including documentation, data summaries, and adherence to applicable regulatory and design control processes.
  • Serves as a key point of contact for assigned project activities and may interact with external partners on routine technical or project coordination matters.
  • Contributes to successful project execution by organizing team activities, fostering collaboration, and supporting team engagement.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in program or project management within the MedTech and/or Pharma industry, including exposure to product development processes.

  • Commercial Awareness – Understands business and financial considerations that influence project decisions.
  • Ability to travel approximately 15%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering degree is an asset. MBA or PMP preferred.
  • Exposure to systems engineering for medical devices and understanding of connected device communication concepts is beneficial.
  • Experience with design control methodologies preferred.
