WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an enthusiastic visionary to join our team as Designer II. The ideal candidate possesses a hunger for apparel design, growth and teamwork. A passion for understanding and elevating the Nike Lifestyle consumer experience through the lens of product execution is a must. In this role, you will work with the team in creating a holistic, emotional connection to Nike apparel utilizing narratives and storytelling embedded in the brand’s culture and the consumer’s world.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As the Designer II for Women’s Lifestyle Apparel Collections, your primary objective will be to translate our greater lifestyle vision into compelling apparel designs that embody the culture of sport as well both a modern lifestyle aesthetic and a distinct streetwear identity.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As the Designer II for Women’s Lifestyle Apparel Collections, you will collaborate closely with various partners within our organization to bring the lifestyle vision to life inclusive of Color Design, Graphic Design, Footwear Design, Product Management, Technical Design, Development Partners and Merchandising.
Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Design Director of Women’s Lifestyle Apparel Collections. In this role, you will work closely with your collections team to ensure cohesion amongst the collection.
Partnerships:
Working closely with your design triad, you will ensure that the greater collection vision is brought to life in a way only Nike can bring it to life.
Collaborative Environment:
You will participate and promote a collaborative environment where ideas are shared freely, and creativity flourishes.

WHAT YOU BRING
• Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related design field or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Minimum 1-4 years of relevant work experience in a design environment working with materials, textiles, trims, design and fit.
• Development of products, including coordinating with multiple partners to ensure the accuracy of produced designs.
• Ability to collaborate with other Designers / Design Directors to create narratives that support seasonal concepts & stories.
• Ability to provide design support for design team as needed outside of assigned product load.
• Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital design software (Creative Suite) is a must.
• A hunger to learn, grow and expand.
• Deep interest in fashion, culture and elevated craft.
• Ability to share designs, narratives & process in a cohesive manner.
• Collaborative spirit with soft skills and flexibility to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• A positive attitude with a love of fashion, product and people.
