The Position

Position - National Sales Manager - Pathology Lab & Sequencing

Your Opportunity

As the National Sales Manager - Pathology Lab & Sequencing , you will be a member of Roche Diagnostics India Extended Leadership team. You will lead the team & own the commercialization strategy of the Pathology Lab and ensure a successful implementation of the strategies. At the same time you are supporting the organization to deliver on its overarching priorities contributing to a holistic customer solution approach. 

You will be a key interface in translating customer and business needs, as well as strategy on several levels into clear priorities for the Pathology, so as to guide the focus of the the team and squads. As such, you will closely work with the Pathology Lab Customer Area, Sequencing and the Digital Pathology Solutions Team, the corresponding Functional Partners who link to the business, as well as collaborate across Networks to deliver comprehensive and successful Customer Solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strategic

  • Accountable for achieving the top line and bottom line objectives of the division

  • Responsible for driving strategic large projects across both private and government segments 

  • Responsible for complete sales activity of the division including sales distribution handling, supply & control, accounting & administration

  • Responsible for ensuring the establishment and development of relationship between the organization and the principal customers

  • Responsible for sharing vision of Pathology & Sequencing business internally and driving streamlined efforts across all internal functions such as Marketing, MSA, Market Access, Communications 

  • Constantly monitor competition to evaluate and implement best sales practice 

  • Drive relationship with key external stakeholders responsible for the success of the business

Planning

  • Responsible for strategic distributions of area-wise, product-wise and value-wise sales targets amongst Regional Managers in consultation with them 

  • Prepare sales forecasts and budget which is taking into consideration market potential & in line with requirement of the organization; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team.

  • Use feedback from the sales team and market information to review existing processes and taking corrective action.

  • Monitor and provide continuous feedback on competitor’s activity to the product management team.

  • Responsible for planning of new product launches, sales promotion activities etc. with the marketing team.


Leadership:

  • Build a motivated, enabled and empowered direct & indirect teams that challenges the status quo, explores new ways of doing things and radically simplify.

  • Accountable for coaching the sales team on the technical aspects of the organization’s products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

  • Motivate change with proven skills to influence business leaders and Pathology team to required outcomes

  • Ensuring that the sales team is compliant with the product Placement policies, IPC compliance, documentation, reporting etc.

  • Appraise performance on the achievement of targets against predefined objectives and recommend career progression decisions.

  • As an active member of the Extended Leadership team continue to transform your own self and the way we work.

Who You Are:

Science Graduate with MBA as an added advantage

12 to 15 years of experience in Pathology/Tissue Diagnostics or Oncology out of which 5 years atleast with people leadership

Pan India experience would be an added advantage
