Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Manager, Ad Operations to lead and scale our advertising operations function. This role will be responsible for ensuring flawless execution of digital advertising campaigns, driving operational excellence, and serving as a critical bridge between Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Ad Operations, and offshore teams. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on ad ops expertise, strong people and process management skills, and the ability to represent Ad Operations in cross-functional forums while supporting stakeholders during core EST/ PST business hours.
Key Responsibilities
Ad Operations Leadership & Execution
- Own support end-to-end ad operations workflows including campaign setup, trafficking, QA, optimization support, troubleshooting, and delivery assurance across multiple platforms.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs, best practices, and quality standards for all managed campaigns.
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex operational issues and campaign risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of ad operations processes.
- Use data to drive decisions, measure impact, and identify opportunities.
- Ability to work with the engineering teams on APIs, data flows, integrations, and system architecture.
- Support continuous improvement of program management frameworks and tools.
- Manage dependencies across multiple systems such as ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, data pipelines and analytics teams.
- Ensure programs meet scalability, reliability, compliance, and SLA requirements.
- Run program governance including weekly status, logs, executive updates and cross-teams syncs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Transparency
- Serve as the primary liaison between CSMs and Ad Operations, proactively bridging gaps in communication, expectations, and execution.
- Ensure full transparency on campaign status, risks, timelines, and performance through clear documentation, dashboards, and regular updates.
- Partner closely with Sales, CSMs, Product, P&E, and Analytics teams to support client objectives and revenue growth.
- Represent the Ad Operations team in internal/external stakeholder meetings, planning sessions, and reviews.
Offshore Team Management
- Coordinate and collaborate with offshore Ad Operations teams to ensure seamless execution across time zones.
- Define clear workflows, ownership models, and escalation paths between onshore and offshore teams.
- Optimize coverage models to support global operations and campaign delivery timelines.
Client & Stakeholder Support
- Attend and actively participate in internal and external meetings during core EST/PST hours, ensuring strong alignment with stakeholders.
- Support CSMs in client-facing discussions by providing operational insights, feasibility assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Confidently represent Ad Operations in client escalations, QBRs, and strategic discussions as needed.
Reporting & Operational Excellence
- Develop and maintain operational metrics, reporting, and dashboards to track performance, quality, and delivery.
- Identify gaps in processes, tools, or resourcing and recommend solutions to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, platform requirements, and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Ad Operations, Digital Advertising Operations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of people or team leadership experience, including managing or partnering with offshore teams.
- Strong hands-on experience with ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, and major ad platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, DV360, Meta, etc.).

- Prior experience representing operations in client-facing or executive-level meetings.

Skills and Qualifications
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $130,000 and $155,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
