The Opportunity:
Responsible for Project Management of designated air bases in the UK for the implementation of design, installation, and sustainment work. Responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation and sustainment. This includes overseeing and/or performing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of solution components. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the solution. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed. Includes any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.


Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall management, performance, and completion of projects, tasks, or delivery orders as part of a program. Duties include all areas of project management to include personnel supervision from initiation through closeout to ensure the successful execution of the project's mission, goals, and objectives.  The Project Manager will be customer facing, which will include business development and capture activities throughout the add IBDSS Next UK Area of Responsibility. 

Typically reports to the program manager chain of command. Responsible for managing one or more activities, control account, task within a project/program. Some jobs in this family have profit and loss (P&L) responsibility - defined as having direct influence on how company resources are allocated and being accountable for the performance of a self-contained unit delivering on the targets set and within budget by managing costs (decrease) and revenue (increase), e.g. includes Deputy Project/Program Managers

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of five years of technical experience in a specific function/technological area related to physical or electronic security systems.
  • • Ability to test and trouble shoot electronic security equipment, interpret drawings and maintenance manuals.
  • Possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent in that functional/technological area. An additional two years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • Working knowledge of physical and electronic security systems and equipment as well as their installation, test, and operation is required.
  • • Secret security clearance (Must be obtainable)

Communicates with parties within and outside of own job function. Typically has responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)

Works to influence project/team leaders within and outside of the job function at project/program regarding solution design, process, and/or approaches

Leadership & Talent Management:

Typically, responsible for providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within technical discipline. Typically, responsible for leading large or complex projects that involve technically challenging requirements at this level, involving delegation of work and review of work products.

Knowledge & Experience:

Requires deep knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.

May have broad knowledge of project management.

Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
