Within our Parts & Services Division, our mission is to keep our equipment running at its full potential. We are responsible for the aftermarket business worldwide, we develop tailored offerings & services to support our customers throughout the equipment lifecycle and to deliver competitive and consistent service for Sandvik equipment. Our customer base ranges from large multinational mining & infrastructure companies and mining & infrastructure contractors to small and medium-sized enterprises, all of whom rely on our equipment.


Your mission – to set and deliver the strategic direction for the service operations business activities and to ensure operational service excellence globally.
You will be based in Stockholm, Sweden and international travel is included in your job, up to 40% of the time as required. You report directly to the President, Parts and Services Division and you are an effective member of the Division Management Team.


Within your scope is to develop and steer the strategy to build and drive after sales service performance, engaging with cross functional partners towards the optimization of service operations to ensure a well-functioning, competitive and customer focused service delivery. You will lead a team of service professionals to develop solution-focused strategies promoting the transformation of our maintenance business into a service-oriented model and to spearhead service operations digitalization initiatives. You will collaborate with the respective equipment divisions and with sales areas to maintain customer focus and develop dynamic service plans for growing customer satisfaction.


You are a recognized and enthusiastic and target-oriented leader with over 10 years of experience in aftermarket operations. You possess a working knowledge of advanced continuous improvement tools and principles (Green Belt/Black Belt/Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). As an efficient and effective decision-maker, you can set priorities and deliver results to consistently raise the bar in the organization's delivered quality.


To perform well in our diverse setting, you need a highly developed multicultural understanding and exceptional communication skills, enabling you to develop and sustain close and collaborative working relationships in a matrix organization. As a global player, you naturally need well-developed English language skills.
